mental health
Mental health is something that affects everyone. Just like the rest of our body & physical health, we have our mental health to look after. Our longest relationship in life is the one that we have with ourselves. It would make sense to keep that one happy, healthy & as safe as possible.
Battling through mental health problems is never an easy task & one that often leaves us feeling alone. I was diagnosed with severe anxiety when I was very young & have battled numerous mental hurdles. It's taken me time, but I've realised it's not necessarily about recovering or getting rid of my anxiety. It's about learning how to cope during those anxious times. Finding tools & coping mechanisms, as well as getting to the root of the cause.
There is no shame in seeking help for your mental health. Just like if you broke an arm, you would get help to make it better right? The same principle applies.
There are so many resources that are accessible to us now & should be used.
Please take the time to use the information & links below, to help yourself, as well as others.
