I have always enjoyed baking & cooking. I'm pretty sure I was helping my parents in the kitchen, when I was around 3 years old & have grown a love for cooking ever since. I used to say when I grew up I wanted to be a chef - as well as an inventor, a singer & anything else I could think of!

 

The majority of my diet is plant based, so I enjoy finding new things to make, whilst finding the balance between nutrition & treats. I love sharing my creations with my family & friends, so why not share it with the rest of the world too!

My cupboard must haves

Pasta, Rice, Noodles, Lentils, Quinoa, Olive Oil, Groundnut Oil, Sesame Seed Oil, Black Pepper, Garlic, tinned Chickpeas, various tinned Beans, tinned Tomatoes, a selection of Spices, Nuts & Seeds e.g. Garam Masala, Cumin, Herbs de ProvenceTurmeric, Nutmeg, Oregano, Rosemary, Chia Seeds, Cashews, Peanuts, Sesame Seeds. Peanut Butter, Tinned Coconut Milk. Sriracha, Soy Sauce, Maple Syrup, Vegetable stock, various Flours for baking, binding & thickening, Cacoa Powder.

My chilled must haves

Lots of Fresh Fruit & Vegetables. I tend to always have Bananas, Broccoli, Blueberries, Avocados, Berries, Lemon & Limes, Peppers, Potatoes/Sweet Potatoes, Carrots, salad leaves; such as Romaine Lettuce, Tomato puree,  Miso Paste, Ginger paste, Garlic paste, Herbs; I always have fresh Coriander/Cilantro, Plant based Milk, firm Tofu & Silken Tofu. Plant based meat substitutes e.g. Quorn.
